I'm Sean Kinsella, a speaker, mentor, and founder of SK Life Balance. My mission is to help people and organisations rebuild from the inside out, because I’ve lived that journey myself. From addiction and prison to education and leadership, my story shapes everything I do.
I work across schools, prisons, and the corporate world, leading programmes that focus on early intervention, post-release restart support, and wellbeing in the workplace. My goal is to help individuals and teams build resilience, develop self-leadership, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I help people rebuild from rock bottom, whether they’re just starting out, just getting out, or just burned out. I use what I’ve lived through to support change where it’s needed most: in communities, prisons, workplaces.
I don’t talk about resilience from a textbook. I’ve lived it. What I offer is raw, honest, and rooted in experience, not theory. That’s why I can walk into a prison, a school, or a boardroom and find a way to connect. From rock bottom to real impact.
Every session, talk, or programme is shaped to meet real needs. I lead with honesty, I hold space for change, and I stay grounded in what works.Whether we’re walking, talking, or working through a plan, it’s about real connection, trust, and progress that lasts.
No jargon. No pressure. Just honest conversations and practical steps that create real change.
We start with a straight-up, honest chat about where you're at. No judgment, no fluff, just space to talk, be heard, and figure out what’s really going on.
We build a plan together, based on your life, your goals, and your reality. Whether it’s about recovery, mindset, work stress, or starting over, it’s shaped around what you actually need.
I’ll support you as you put it into action, with accountability, check-ins, and tools that actually stick. Change isn’t a straight line, but we’ll walk it step by step, side by side. This work only works if it’s honest. I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to walk with you while you fix it yourself.
I grew up in Ballymun. By 14, I was homeless and using heroin. I lived in and out of addiction, prison, and survival mode for years. But I came through it, and I turned that pain into purpose. My story isn’t clean or easy. But it’s real. And it’s why I do this work every single day.
My journey to prison was shaped by a cycle of addiction, crime, and self-destruction. Ironically, prison provided me with the structure and peace I couldn’t find outside. At 30, after hitting rock bottom, I reached out for help, confronting the pain I had long avoided. Rediscovering my self-worth and values, I found a new sense of purpose.
Today, with a degree in coaching, an Ironman finish, and a deeper love for life through my daughter, I’m committed to helping others break free and find their path to recovery. There is always a way out, no matter how far you fall.
