Exploring Employment Opportunities for People with Lived Experience

I was honoured to attend an event co-hosted by Indeed, Gaisce the President’s Award, and Generation Change, exploring employment opportunities for people with previous convictions.
The day brought together employers, leaders, and changemakers committed to breaking stigma and creating fair access to work for those rebuilding their lives. I also had the privilege of meeting Minister for
Justice Jim O Callaghan and sharing insights on how lived experience can shape more inclusive hiring practices.

Events like this highlight the power of collaboration between government, business, and community and remind me that everyone deserves a second chance.
